I do not see any information about Rhino Tractors at this website. Anyone have any comments regarding buying a 1998- 34HP 4 x 4 Loader with 100hrs for $10,900?How do they stack up against Kubota, JD, Yanmar, ect.??Thanks for any info. Curt Hinck- Portland, OR

As far as I know, the Alamo Group, who distributed Rhino tractors in the US has Been sold/ gone bankrupt/ no longer handles Rhino. The Local fly-by-night who became a Rhino dealer just a couple of months ago had to sell his 5 new ones at auction last Sat. These are cheap units that are poorly designed & constructed, and Parts availability was terrible when they had a distributer, how will it be now? Go find a New Holland, Kubota, or Deere. Support is available for these tractors, and one that has been cared for with 1000 hrs will be a better tractor than a Rhino with 100hrs. ....

I had also been looking a Rhino and had decided that it was too risky. I did not know that Alamo had gone under. Alamo also makes a line of Rhino implements. Are they out of business as well? ....

My not-so-official info is that they have been bought up by Woods, who declined to be in the tractor business. This info may be incomplete, or downright incorrect. ....

Rhino is still in business. I sent an e-mail to Rhino Internaional recently inquiring about their pending collapse and was informed that a new distributor is already in place. That doesn't mean that we should all run right out and buy one...depends on one's expectations for a tractor, I guess. ....

Rhino implements (with a picture of a Rhino on them) are made by the Servis-Rhino company in the US. THey have nothing to do with the tractor.Dave ....

seems like rhino tractor owners arn't here talking on the message board.they are out working with their tractors.i talked with a few owners and they were happy with theirs.just bought a new 3224,32hp,4x4.thought for 6k i would take a gamble.leaves more $ for attachments that i need to do the work. ....
